Thank you soooo much for the invite, ladies. Last year was a blast, and I'm excited to be on the list again for 2013!

 So, if you've landed on my blog, it's because you love to read. No, I'm not psychic (it's a blog hop so I had a heads up) but several characters in my Tueri Fated Souls series are. In fact, the entire Tueri race are psychics. Tueri is Latin for protect, and that's just what the Tueri do...they protect mankind from supernaturals, preternaturals or just plain bad guys that threaten harm.

 Now, not everyone reads the paranormal genre - although again, you're here, so you most likely do. I love the genre. I cut my teeth on fantasy and sci-fi, graduated to supernatural horrors and finally immersed myself in paranormal romance and urban fantasy.

 Why do I read these genres? Pure escapism. I love my life, but -like everyone else's- it gets hectic. I work in court everyday, surrounded by real life. Turning a page and falling into a completely different world always soothes my overloaded senses.

    I read a lot of genres. YA and historical romance are my favorites.

    I read a lot of realistic fiction because I relate the most to it personally. Always has to have some element of romance though :)

    I love a good mystery/suspense. It's fun to follow the twists and tuns and to see if I can figure out the ending.

    I really have no specific genre, I sometimes lean toward paranormal or romance, but then like I said I like them all.

    I read a lot of genres. My favorites are mysteries and urban fantasy. I like reading about a world different from my own and I like to figure puzzles out.

    Almost any YA Romance based type.
    Sci Fi, Fantasy, Contemporary, Paranormal, Dystopian (sometimes), etc. :)

    Sci-fi, Paranormal, Romance, YA, Dystopian, and Fantasy. Those are the genres I really get lost and "into"! =)

    I read a lot of historical romances (must be held over from my previous life!), contemporary romance (always up for a good love story) and I do like to read true crime.

    I mostly read historical romances set in the 19th century and some in early 20th century. I like the history and romance of the various eras.

    I read anything paranormal, UF, Dystopian, Erotic & Romance in either YA or Adult and just about anything else in between. I am usually not picky as long as the book can keep my interest. if it doesn't then i usually don't read it.

    I read across the board, just about anything but autobiographies, now sure why they are not of interest. I think currently my favorite is urban fantasy, as generally there is a lot of action with infinite possibilities, sometimes a little love interest, sometimes a dab of humor, and generally there are strong characters in tough situations that I would love to have as friends.     I read all the sub-genres of Fantasy, SciFi, and Romance in both Adult and YA. It's my way of adventuring and vicariously living on the edge.

    I am a hardcore paranormal addict I cannot get enough .I love the paranormal genre because anything can happen ,any being can exist the rules that usually apply in books go out the window .Hope you have a fantastic week

    I try to mix it up so that I don't get burnt out by a genre. I love romance, paranormal, mystery, contemporary, historical fiction and more but at the moment I am doing a New Adult challenge so that's been fun and interesting.

    I like crime, paranormal, and anything with a strong female lead. I enjoy trying to figure out what's going to happen, creativity in destruction and problem solving, and interaction between characters.

    I read all types of genres, but my favourites are Paranormal Romances and Dystopia. PNR because I love to be swept away when I'm reading, so I like escaping to a different kind of world. I guess the same goes for Dystopia. I like the different end-of-world scenarios.

    I read a little bit of everything just about it. My favorite is mystery, especially mixed with some romance and paranormal! I just enjoy the suspense and trying to solve the mystery myself. I also enjoy the extra elements added when paranormal creatures are added in.
