Monster-spewing rifts
have been seen deep within Gisele Westerfield's enchanted forest after a rare
Massachusetts earthquake awakens an old curse.
Gisele's great
nephew, the gifted Micah and his distant cousin Selena arrive to assist in her
attempts to heal the rifts. When Gisele's summer students, twins Haley and
Lacey offer to help, Micah identifies Haley as The One with whom he'll share
his future, much to the consternation of the beautiful Selena. Initially
attracted to him, Haley cools to his advances after witnessing a terrifying
display of his Gift. She then discovers a Gift of her own--she can heal the
earth!
Monsters, mayhem and
teenage angst follow Gisele and her small group of teenagers as they confront
evil in the forest and the prediction that, "One will fall." Can the
school-children-turned-warriors silence the evil and save the unicorns? And is
Haley really destined to be with Micah?
